Meet our dedicated team
Gwenyn Powers - Part Owner & Dog Trainer
I’m a certified professional dog trainer with 7 years of hands-on experience working with both pet and service dogs. My specialties lie in canine reactivity and the One Health framework—exploring the dynamic relationship between human, animal, and environmental health.
My career began in specialized training for personal protection and service dogs, where I had the opportunity to work with high-drive, working breeds. That early experience not only deepened my understanding of canine behavior but also highlighted key gaps in our industry’s training standards.
Driven to improve those standards, I pursued advanced education in both dog behavior and human health, earning dual Master’s degrees in Public Health (MPH) and Business Administration (MBA). This unique combination allows me to approach training from a holistic perspective—addressing behavioral challenges at the root while also helping pet parents overcome real-world barriers to success.
My passion lies in making high-quality dog training accessible. I’m committed to offering practical, affordable support through digital resources, flexible monthly training retainers, and round-the-clock access for my clients. Whether you're managing reactivity or just trying to build a stronger bond with your dog, I’m here to help you every step of the way.
Jessica Wilson - Part Owner, Dog Trainer, & Nutritionist
I’ve been in the pet industry for 6 years, starting in pet retail at an independent store, I discovered my passion for pet products, nutrition and pet parents. Training my first puppy, Georgia, revealed gaps in my knowledge and I decided to seek help from wonderful local trainer when I just couldn’t figure out what I had been doing wrong. I learned about natural dog behavior and how dogs emotions impact their behavior. This led me to focus on psychology-based training with a focus on ethical and humane handling and deciding to pursue the CBATI-KA. I now have 4 dogs and participate in dog sports across the PNW with my Golden Retriever, Bogey. In addition to my training certification, I decided to take Professional Nutrition Certification to help myself as well as other pet parents make informed feeding choices. Currently, I also work at a grooming salon, focusing on skin and coat care and force free handling. My holistic approach to training emphasizes meeting all a dog’s needs for their overall well-being.
